Hi. I found this site, actually, while researching CGI stuff. I thought it'd be cool to be part of a development team. So, here's the basics:

- I'm 13
- I don't have alot of experience in programs like C+
- I'm writting a story, but would be happy to share ideas with Pangea
- Geist3D doesn't work on my computer, but I'm planning on getting a better one soon
- I love to come up with things like Robots and devices, so I'll probobly be in the Concept Art area of the forum alot (Until, that is, I get a new computer)
- I would like to focus on writting stuff like story and dialouge

That about sums it up! I'm looking forward to contributing everything I can!

P.S. One last question: Geist3D Studio works  similarly to the program Solidworks, right?

Hi Gamma,

Welcome to the board. Things are going to be slow for a while from my side, but definitely feel free to contribute ideas and concept art. Best of course would be if you learned a 3D modeling tool like Blender and contributed complete 3D models including nice textures. That’s quite a steep learning curve though, but since you are still young there is lots of time Smiley

OK, then! I just downloaded Blender, so I guess I'll try it out.

Greetings Gamma 33,
I'm glad you join us!
If you are trying to learn Blender, I'm currently mentoring a team to make a small game using Blender, and I'm providing tutorials. Obviously, I'll add them here too, but you may join the team if you wish! The thread is at Blenderartists.org, here is the link: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=172481

Welcome to Geist3D, once we pick up the pace, a game demo will come out in no time...

Peace!

How do you post Blender stuff? I can't seem to find the files the models are in.

Somthing I just learned: If you ever want to to upload a picture that's too big, just get an account on deviantart.com and then upload it. Deivientart automaticly resizes it.

Just thought this was kind of funny. It was during a tutorial in Blender.
